Marie Webster Scott, 75, Oneida, passed away Saturday, November 10, 2007, in Green Bay, with her family by her side. She was born September 20, 1932, daughter of the late Arthur Oliver Sr. and Josephine (Wheelock) Webster. Marie was a member of the Oneida United Methodist Church and the Oneida Singers. She was a member of the Oneida VFW Ladies Auxiliary 7784. Marie enjoyed crossword puzzles, crafts and singing with the Oneida singers and gospel music. Marie's professional career was as a beautician for over 20 years in the Chicago area. She returned to Oneida where she owned and operated her own beauty salon until her retirement. After retirement she worked part-time for Oneida Elderly Services assisting with "Drums Across Oneida".
Survivors include three brothers, Irvin Webster, Oneida, Clifford (Wanda) Webster, Oneida, and Donald (Alma) Webster, DePere, two sisters, Shirley Blum, Park Ridge Il, and Audrey Webster, Oneida, sister-in-law, Rita Webster, Oneida; nieces and nephews; 3 Godsons, Melvin, Donald Jr. and Tyler Webster, and special friends, Phyllis Johnson, Noel Cleven, Yvonne Doxtator and Teresa Reed.
Preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Josephine, and three brothers, Robert, Arthur and Martin, and a niece Rhonda Webster.
Friends may call at the Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home Seymour from 5 to 8 pm on Monday, November 12, 2007. Oneida singers at 6:30 and a prayer service at 7 pm with Doug Skenandore presiding along with an Auxiliary service. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, November 12, 2007, at 1:30 pm at the Oneida Methodist Church with Pastor Walter Reed officiating, burial in the parish cemetery.
