Marge E. Gardner, 93, of Seymour, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Seymour.
She was born December 11, 1924, daughter of the late Ferdinand and Catherine (Dominowski) Fischer, in the Town of Cicero.
Marge graduated from Seymour High School.
She was a member of New Life Methodist Church, Seymour.
On August 26, 1944, she was united in marriage to Fenton Gardner at the First Methodist Church in Appleton by Pastor J. Raymond Chadwick. He preceded her in death in August 1990. They farmed on the Gardner Homestead when it became a Century Farm and was in the Gardner Family for well over 100 years. Marge was employed by the Seymour Community High School for over 34 years.
Marge is survived by her three children: Barbara (Robert) Ebeling, Plainfield, IL; Don (Allie) Gardner, Seymour; Margo (Brian) Sherren, St. Germain; grandchildren: Paul (Jodi) Gardner, Seymour; Sara (Philip) Stern, Bonduel; Tracy (Jeffery) Luczak, Seymour; Molly Gardner (fiancé, Bryan Benson), Cadillac, MI; Ian (Cristin) Sherren, Madison; Ann (Alan) Amundson, Milwaukee; great-grandchildren: Hannah Gardner, Avah Gardner, Olivia Gardner and Alex Gardner, Seymour; Riley and Luke Stern, Bonduel; Jacob and Brooke Luczak, Seymour; great-great-grandchildren: Kathryn, Ellody, Max Amundson, Milwaukee; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her brothers: Raymond, Rudolph (Olive), Roy (Darhl) and Elmer (Harriet); nephews, Bill Fischer and Richard Fischer; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mattie and Emory Gardner; brothers-in-law: Ralph (Geraldine) Gardner, Maynard (Arlane) Gardner and Roger (Jeanette) Gardner; niece, Nancy Fischer Shilhabel.
Friends may call at New Life United Methodist Church, Seymour on Friday, June 8, 2018, from 3:00 pm until the services at 5:00 pm with Pastor Mark Klaisner officiating.
