Mark James Carpenter, 58, Navarino, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday, February 6, 2022. The son of Hollis and Lucy (Oskey) Carpenter, he was born August 9, 1963, in Neenah. He attended Seymour High School.
Mark was united in marriage to Faye Leeman on April 23, 1988. He worked as a builder at R&R Steel and then as a millwright at Neenah Foundry, Dean Foods, and most recently at Thilmany, where he celebrated twenty-five years of service. Mark was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his bike, and birdwatching, but his passion was the hunting land he loved caring for and improving.
Survivors include his wife, Faye, Navarino; children: Brandon (Lindsey) Carpenter, Navarino; Amanda Carpenter, Little Chute; and Jeremiah Carpenter, Navarino; his father, Hollis Carpenter, Nichols; siblings: Cindy (Steve) Diemel, Connie (Rick) Furman, and Mike Carpenter; numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; two Godchildren: David Diemel and Benjamin Carpenter; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lucy Carpenter; his in-laws, Lois Guyette and Henry (Marcella) Leeman; and one brother, Marty Carpenter.
Visitation will take place at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home from 2:00 pm until the time of services at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 10, 2022, Pastor Moira Finley officiating.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
The family extends a special thanks to the staff of ThedaCare at Home Hospice for their compassionate care, and a heartfelt thanks to his family and friends at the mill for staying in touch.
