Marvin Nooyen, age 90, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.
Marvin was born on December 26, 1933 to the late Henry and Adele (Wierschke) Nooyen in Green Bay, WI. He was united in marriage to Mary Ann Koslowski on May 28, 1955.
He enjoyed pulling horses, farming, and visiting with family. He further enjoyed watching Western shows/movies, wrestling, Sunday Football, dancing to waltzes and playing cards.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Nooyen; children: Jean (Wesley) Laabs, Mary (Russ) Homel, Patricia (Roger) Vandenhoy-Bellin, James (Lisa) Nooyen, Tim Nooyen (special friend Lisa), Jeff (Brenda) Nooyen, Chris (Dennis) Sigl, Tony Nooyen (special friend Beth), Kathy Jansen (special friend John); 23 grandchildren and 54 great-grandchildren; siblings: Joyce (the late Floyd) White, Henry John (Janice) Nooyen, Darlene (Richard) Stedl, Diane (the late James) Garsow, Janet Estey, Bernard Nooyen (special friend Chris) and Ruben Nooyen, and brother-in-law Roger Liebeck and sister-in-law Marilyn Nooyen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings Bernice, Edna, Elliot, Dorothy, Kenneth, Shirley Liebeck, Raymond (the late Joyce), Melvin (the late Geraldine), sisters-in-law, Karla Nooyen and Clarence "Sam" (the late Lola) Nooyen, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, sons-in-law Matt Jansen and Tim Vandenhoy, and infant grandson Cody Nooyen.

Visitation will take place at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, N9269 Isaar Road, Seymour, on Wednesday August 7, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a 7:00 PM prayer service. The funeral mass for Marvin will be held at church on Thursday August 8th at 11:00 AM with Fr. Sengole Dass and Deacon Rich Matuszak officiating. There will be an additional time of visitation on Thursday at church from 10:00 AM until the time of services. Marvin will be laid to rest at the parish cemetery following the funeral mass.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Marvin's name.
Marvin's family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff at Unity Hospice, especially Wendy and Tammy, for their loving care during his illness.
