Mary A. Krueger, 62, of Freedom, passed away Tuesday evening, March 20, 2018 surrounded by her family at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton after losing her courageous battle with cancer and COPD. She was born September 8, 1955, daughter of the late Frederick and Alice (Koeppl) Krueger.
She is a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Freedom.
Mary graduated from Hortonville High School in 1973 and attended Fox Valley Technical College earning her nursing degree.
Mary worked as a nurse at Oneida Health Center and New London Medical Center where she was proud to be of assistance to others.
Mary was very creative, always working with her hands on sewing and crocheting projects.
Mary accomplished her goal of taking a trip to Ireland to celebrate her Irish heritage. She was also a life-long Packer fan.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Andrea (Thomas) Gault; son, Mike (Rachel) Krueger; four grandchildren: Tristan, Samuel, Kylee, Lillian, and one more on the way; five sisters: Sue Krueger, Deb (Rick) Diedrich, Theresa (Kevin) Marquette, Tammy Krueger, and Cindy Krueger; four brothers: Chuck (Kaye) Krueger, Randy Krueger, Tim (Brenda) Krueger, and Tom Krueger. She is further survived by aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sister-in-law, Sandra Krueger; aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Friends may call at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Freedom on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 from 9:00 am until the funeral mass at 12:00 noon with Fr. Walter Stumpf officiating. Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, is assisting the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Mary’s memory.
