Mary Marcks, 98, passed away Thursday evening, October 18, 2007 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home. She was born November 10, 1908 in Cudahay, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Stief) Wirth. Mary was a life long resident of the Black Creek, Shiocton and Seymour area.
She is survived by her daughter, Shirley (Bernard) Delvaux, Hobart, one son Gaylord (Virginia) Marcks, Seymour, and a daughter-in-law, Ruth Marcks, Green Bay. She is further survived by: 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by: her husband Vernon; her son, Vincent; 2 brothers; 1 sister, and 2 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday evening, October 24, at 7 P.M. Friends may call from 4 P.M. until time of services at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour. Burial will be in the Seymour City Cemetery.
