Mary Weyers, age 68, of Townsend passed away peacefully in the presence of her family on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Seymour.
She was born March 18, 1943, daughter of the late Raymond and Gladys (Pamperin) Wagner.
She married Jim Weyers on July 28th, 1962 in Black Creek.
Mary did a lot of volunteer work throughout the Green Bay area and nurtured many friendships as a result.
She had a very positive outlook, was very supportive to others, and her smile always put others at ease.
Mary's family was always her first priority. She enjoyed family gatherings and always took the opportunity to be a part of family member events.
Mary enjoyed gardening and flowers, preparing meals for the family and friends, and playing cards and other games. She especially enjoyed spending time spent with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband Jim, she is survived by her 6 children: Bill (Kathleen) Weyers, Clive, Iowa; Greg (Patti) Weyers, Lakewood; Sarah (Tom) Langkamp, The Woodlands, Texas; Brian (Bridget) Weyers, Plymouth, Michigan; Jennifer (RJ) Fleigle, Waukesha; Matt (Jill) Weyers, Cecil; 13 grandchildren: Cassie, Chrissie, Katie, Sam, Hannah, Abby, Sean, Katelyn, Ethan, Emily, Nick, Jack, Ryan; 8 sisters and brothers: Dennis (Darlene) Wagner, Clintonville; Betty (Don) Sedo, Clintonville; Tom (Bonnie) Wagner, Black Creek; Mike Wagner, Black Creek; Chris (Dennis) Neuman, Seymour; Carol (Mike) Bluma, Seymour; Steve (Nancy) Wagner, Seymour; Bob (Jennifer) Wagner, Black Creek. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, 358 S. Main Street, Seymour, on Monday, July 18, 2011 from 4 PM to 8 PM with a prayer service at 7:30 PM. Visitation will continue at St. Mary's of the Lake Parish, 15232 County Road F, Lakewood, on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 from 9:30 AM until the Mass of Christian burial at 11 AM with Father Jason Blahnik officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Mary's memory.
