Matt Eggert

Matthew M. Eggert passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton. On May 8, 1981 Matthew was born in Appleton, Wisconsin. He lived his life in the Seymour and Appleton area.

Matt's many interests revolved around the outdoors and the bounty of nature. If there is woods, Matt would find it! Some people get lost in the woods, not Matt.
Hunting and fishing were his passions, his love of the land lead to him becoming excellent at developing and growing food plots, his garden, and his canning that so many people enjoyed.

Matthew is survived by his mother and step-father: Christine and Geoffrey Liptak, Seymour; sister, Angela Leiterman (partner Jon) Pensacola, Florida; brother, Troy Eggert, Seymour; and his daughter, Gabriella Eggert and step-brother, Geoffrey Liptak Jr. (Maryssa), Connecticut. Further survived by his father and step-mother, Mark and Mary Eggert, Appleton; step-brother, Andrew Sedo, Seymour; step-sister, Alisha Sedo and her daughter, Thea, Little Chute. Matthew is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He is reunited with his grandparents: Gerald and Delores Reed, Clem and Bernice Eggert; uncle, Bernie Reed; and aunt, Bonnie Eggert.

Visitation for Matt will take place at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Friday, August 27, 2021 from 4pm until the funeral service at 7pm with Pastor Jason Anderson officiating.
