Matthew Thomas Rynish, our beloved husband, father, brother, son and friend unexpectedly entered eternal glory on April 14, 2011.
Matthew was born on April 6, 1984, son of Lee and Christine Rynish. On December 27, 2008, Matt married the love of his life Jacklyn Marie and resided in Eau Claire. Matt graduated from Seymour Community High School and the University of Wisconsin - Platteville with a Civil Engineering Degree. He was dedicated to his career at Ayres & Associates as a structural engineer and bridge inspector. Some of his proud accomplishments include earning the Eagle Scout Award with Troop 117 in Seymour, competing nationally in the collegiate concrete canoe racing as co-chair, serving as president for the Northwest Branch of The American Society of Civil Engineers. Throughout his life, Matt demonstrated his leadership ability with his faith, family, and community.
Matt will be deeply missed by: his wife, Jacklyn and son, Owen; his parents, Lee and Christine, Seymour; his brothers Nicholas (Shelley) Rynish and their son Dayton, Wisconsin Rapids, Jonathan (Katie) Rynish, Madison, and Joshua Rynish, Seymour; his sister, Tiffany Rynish and fiance Jonathan Hacker, Manitowoc; his godparents, Patrick and Rose Rynish, Hortonville; his maternal grandparents, Ralph and Helen Sassman, Black Creek; his paternal grandparents Louis and Georgian Rynish, Seymour; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Most of all, Matt was a family man, dedicating his life to his wife Jacki and to his 11 week old son, Owen. He loved to play board games and sports as well as spend time outdoors hunting, fishing and camping. His family will remember him most for his faith, love and dedication. Matt, we know you are safe in the arms of the Lord. You will be missed and never forgotten.
Friends may call Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 3307 State Street, Eau Claire, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. with funeral services at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Herb Prahl officiating. Visitation will continue on Thursday at the Muehl - Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 9:00 p.m. Burial will be Friday at St. John's Cemetery, Seymour. A memorial fund has been established to the Matt Rynish Memorial Fund at Wells Fargo Bank, 2910 Mall Dr, Eau Claire, WI 54701.
