Maynard R Schaumberg, 77, Seymour, passed away Saturday morning, February 9, 2008, at a Green Bay hospital. He was born April 9, 1930, son of the late Gerry and Anna (Pautz) Schaumberg. On November 30 1957 he was united in marriage to Elaine Smith. T hey celebrated 50 years of marriage together. Maynard farmed his entire life and was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church and the Brotherhood in Seymour.
He retired from the Osborn Volunteer Fire Department after over 30 years of service. Maynard enjoyed playing cards, attending auctions and farming.
Survivors include his wife Elaine, his children; Glen (Kate) Schaumberg, Jolene VandeVoort, Pam (Brent) Hoppe, Mary Schaumberg, and Kim (Mark) Krahn; 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers: Beatrice Murphy, Appleton, Florence Rusch, Bernice Riehl, Dorothy (Carlton) Stellmacher, and Gerald (Gladys) Schaumberg, all of Seymour; nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by a daughter, Fay Ann, and a son-in-law, Mark, and three sisters, Vivian, Margaret and Marie.
Friends may call at the Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home in Seymour from 4 until 8 pm on Tuesday February 12, 2008, and Wednesday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church Seymour from 9 am until funeral services at 10:30 am with Pastor Roland Lindeman officiating, burial in the parish cemetery.
