Michael “Mike” Eisch, 65, of Black Creek, passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee following a short illness. He was born May 18, 1953, son of the late Adalbert and Ruth (Hansen) Eisch.
Mike graduated from Bonduel High School in 1971. Following graduation, he worked a milk route in the morning and at Fort Howard in the afternoon. He then operated his own sawmill and logging operation. Mike had also worked for many years for Tombstone Pizza and owned a pressure washer company. Prior to retirement he drove dump truck.
On September 2, 2000, he was united in marriage to Judy Campbell.
He was a true outdoorsman, being a serious hunter and avid fisherman. Mike enjoyed being a gun enthusiast, loading his own ammunition and figuring out how to make each gun function better.
Mike was always excited about his hunting trips to Kansas, and also hunted in Colorado and Minnesota. He also loved spending his winters in Texas for the past four years.
More than anything else, he loved his family and his grandchildren, lovingly referring to them as his “grand-angels”. He always looked forward to attending his grandchildren’s events and teaching them about the outdoors.
Mike is survived by his wife, Judy; children: Eric (Kelly Noonan) Eisch, Ellen (Greg) Wells; step-children: Steve Poellot and Jenny Van Schyndel; grandchildren:, Lydia, Ashton, Aiden, and Tyler Eisch, Emma, Abby, and Brady Wells, Kyla and Tygan Van Schyndel, Steve Poellot III; one sister, Mary (Alfredo) Ramirez; nephew, Carlos (Mary) Ramirez; niece, Carmen (Josh) Florez; ex-wife and mother of his children, Debra Marlow. Also survived by brother-in-law, Ronald Campbell; and sister-in-law, Donna (Dave) Kroll; aunt, Barbara Vander Putten; nieces, nephews, and many cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Mary Campbell; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 from 3:00 pm until the funeral service at 6:00 pm with Rev. Paul Hurst officiating.
