Mildred Black

April 30, 1920 — December 1, 2013

Mildred A. Black, age 93, of Seymour, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2013 at St. Mary's Hospital. She was born April 30, 1920 daughter of the late George and Meta (Blohm) Peotter.
On April 22, 1941 she was united in marriage to Harvey Black. He preceded her in death in 1984.
Mildred was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour and a former 4-H leader. She enjoyed playing cards, playing pool and was a former member in the pool league, she was an avid Hofa Park baseball fan.
She is survived by her son Eldon (Teresa) Black, Seymour; daughter Doris (Mark) Krause, De Pere; grandchildren: Tony (Kelly) Krause, Andy Krause (special friend Debby), Allen Krause and Ashley Black; great-grandchildren: Alexis (Michael) Urban and Courtney Krause, Michaela Thurow, Zaiden Krause; great-great grandsons, Lucas and Logan Urban.
Preceded by one sister, Verona (Jim) James; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Earl (Jenny) Black and Warren (Evelyn) Black.
Friends may call at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour on Sunday, December 8, 2013 from 12:30 p.m. until services at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Roland Lindeman officiating. Burial will take place in Angelica Methodist Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.muehlboettcher.com
