Mildred Springstroh

Mildred C. Springstroh, 93, of Seymour, passed away Monday morning, November 17, 2014 at her home. She was born September 29, 1921, daughter of the late Fred and Sarah (Green) Brick.
On November 26, 1941 she was united in marriage to Helmuth "Bud" Springstroh. He preceded her in death in 1996.
Mildred was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour. She enjoyed playing cards, especially sheephead and trips to the casino. Mildred loved time spent with her family and her cats.
She is survived by her daughters, Donna (Don) Giese, Bonduel; Karen (Ken) Platten, Isaar; grandchildren: Dawn Weiland, Dana (Scott) Strzelecki, Debbie (Jason) Lindquist, De Ann (fiancAC. Rodney Tonn) Salzer , Karrie (Craig) Platten, Kris (Tom) Moeller, Kelly (Greg) Vanark, Karla (Chad) Ossmann, Katie (Jake) Vande Voort, Kenny (special friend Jodell) Platten; 23 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Alice Brick; nieces and nephews.
Mildred is preceded in death by one grandson Daniel Giese; one sister and two brothers.
Friends may call at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour on Thursday, November 20, 2014 from 9 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Natalie Kramer McComb and Nick Mattson officiating.
