Millie M. Eisenreich, 85, of Seymour, passed away on May 27, 2007 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Seymour under the care of Heartland Hospice. She was born in Seymour on March 14, 1922 to the late Louis and Louise (Krahn) Arndt. She was a lifelong member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour.
Millie graduated from Seymour High School in 1940. She graduated from Outagamie County Teacher's College in Kaukauna and began her teaching career in Outagamie County. She married the late Robert Eisenreich on August 15, 1944 who preceded her in death on April 19, 1987.
Millie received her Bachelor's Degree in education from the Univ. of WI - Oshkosh in 1966.
In addition to her passion for teaching, she loved traveling the country visiting her children and grandchildren. She will be remembered for her fine cooking and for entertaining friends, family, and neighborhood children.
She is survived by a son, Richard (Georgia) Eisenreich, Columbus, and their children Heidi, Katie, and Amanda; five daughters, Mary Eisenreich, Green Bay; Susan Soehner, Alameda, CA; Jill (Bob) von Trebra, Indianhead Park, IL; Debbie (Ron) Mueller, Hendersonville, NC; their daughter, Maxine; and Becky Jo Glover, Miami, FL, and her daughter, Lavesa.
She is further survived by two sisters, Florence Krohlow and Gen Karweick of Seymour; two brothers,Bob (Arlene) Arndt, California; and Jim (Janet) Arndt, Florida; a sister-in-law, Georgia Arndt, DePere; and several nieces and nephews.
Millie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Ted Arndt and infant sister, Sylvia Mae.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 1, 2007 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour.
In lieu of flowers a music memorial has been established for Emmanuel Lutheran Church and Good Shepherd Nursing Home.
