Myron Van De Walle

Myron "Jim" Van De Walle, age 82, of Seymour passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at St. Mary's Hospital, Green Bay. He was born on May 12, 1931 son of the late Henry and Elizabeth (Van Lysel) Van De Walle. On October 5, 1954 he was united in marriage to Dorothy Herrmann. She preceded him in death June 11, 2012.
Jim was a Korean Army Veteran and a member of Seymour VFW and the American Legion.
Jim and Dorothy operated a dairy farm for many years near Seymour. He enjoyed trips to the casino and playing cards. The couple also enjoyed wintering in Texas for many years.
Survivors include his seven children: Sandy (Bob) Meulemans, Wrightstown; Dennis (Nancy) Van De Walle, Seymour; Barbara (David) Techlin, Neenah; Pat (Bob) Arndt, Appleton; Judy (Bob) Boyea, Seymour; Lori (Jon) Van Rens, Oconto; Jeff (Julie) Van De Walle, Marinette; nineteen grandchildren: Nichole (Brad) Bruegge, Abby Muelemans, Matthew (Brittany) Meulemans, John Van De Walle, Jody Van De Walle (fiancAC. Tyler Van Handel), Jake Van De Walle, Angela Campbell, Lyle Zitske, Jr., Alicia (Kevin) Dorn, Travis Arndt, Melissa (Nick) Anderson, Mike Peterman, Ashley Boyea, Trista Cleven (fiancAC. Shawn Zoeller), Nathan Cleven, Elizabeth Moder, Amber Moder, Hailey Van Rens, Mya Van De Walle, Morgan Manfield; and ten great-grandchildren; Jim is also survived by his brothers: Earl (Margaret) Van De Walle, Larry (Marie) Van De Walle ; sister Donna Treml; sisters -in-law: Helen Mankins and Lois Herrmann.
Preceded in death by a son-in-law Don Moder; brother Don; sisters: Lorraine (Gene) and Delores (Dave); brother-in-law Bob Herrmann.
Friends may call at St. John's Catholic Church, Seymour on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 from 9:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. with Fr. Bob Kabat officiating and Military Honors to follow at church. Burial will take place at King Veterans Cemetery in King.
