Nancy J. Evenstad, 73, passed away March 11, 2018 at Parkview Manor in Green Bay. She was born August 10, 1944, to the late Stanley and Evelyn (Haselow) Dziengeleski. She was united in marriage to Durwin “Red” Evenstad, and he preceded her in death on November 4, 2013.
Nancy and Red owned and ran Red’s IGA in Bonduel for many years.
Her favorite place to be was at Beatons Lake at the family cottage in the U.P. of Michigan. She and Red also enjoyed trips to the casino.
She is survived by her children: Amy Jansen, Green Bay; Erik Evenstad, Rhinelander, and Marc (Susan) Evenstad, Seymour; eight grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brother-in-law, Ron Marto; many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Joann Powers and Jan Marto.
A memorial get-together will be held in the chapel of Parkview Manor Nursing Home, 2961 St. Anthony Drive, Green Bay, where Nancy was a resident, from 4-7 pm on Friday, March 16, 2018, for family and close friends.
