Nancy Meulemans

October 20, 1962 — April 17, 2013

Nancy Marie Botzet Meulemans
I lost my battle with cancer on April 17, 2013. I was born on October 20th, 1962 to Raymond and Ginny (Clugh) Botzet in Green Bay, WI. After a wonderful childhood with six brothers and sisters, I graduated from Seymour High School in 1980. I married my high school sweetheart Jim Hoier in 1984. Though we grew apart and later divorced, we were blessed with our two wonderful children Nicki and Joey. In 1992 I met a longtime friend Ken Meulemans, little did I know, he'd turn out to be the love of my life, my true soul mate who filled my life with more love and joy then I ever knew was possible. Ken and I married on April 26th, 1996 and I became a step-mom to his wonderful children, Brad and Kristin, whom I had already grown to love as much as my own children. I loved spending time with my five precious grandchildren; Addie, Lily, Otto, Aiden, and Mia, they are each so special to me and have made this battle easier. I enjoyed traveling with my husband, four-wheeling, snowmobiling, family get-to-gathers, watching the Green Bay Packers or just a quiet evening at home.
Before my illness I worked at Advanced Physical Therapy as an Insurance Collections Specialist. I loved my job but mostly due to my wonderful co-workers whom I proudly call my friends. I am so thankful that I had such a huge outpouring of love and support from our family and friends while fighting this ugly disease, thank you to each of you.
I am survived by my wonderful husband, Kenneth. Our children and grandchildren: Nicole Hoier (Steve Galske, special friend), granddaughters Addilyn and Lilyana, Seymour; Joseph (Ashley) Hoier, grandson Aiden, another grandbaby on the way, Winchester; Bradley (Jessica) Meulemans, Appleton; Kristin (Robert) Lee, grandson Otto and granddaughter Mia, De Pere; my parents Raymond and Virginia Botzet, Appleton; mother and father-in-law Lawrence and Nancy Meulemans, Black Creek; my sisters: Wanda Sell and Renee (Kelly) Baumann; my brothers: Mike Botzet, Pat (Jo Ann) Botzet, Bill (Diane) Botzet, and John (Ranee) Botzet; grandfather Orville Koehler; brothers and sisters-in-law: John (Debbie) Meulemans, Ray (Heidi) Meulemans, Sue Kastning, Dan (Cindy) Meulemans, Linda (Michael) Barclay, Dennis Meulemans, Barb Hess, Joe (Juli) Meulemans, Wayne (Pam) Meulemans, Judy (Dan) Simpson; many loved nieces, nephews, grandchildren, aunts and uncles.
Proceeded in death by grandparents: John and Isabelle Botzet, Dorothy Koehler; two nephews and one niece.
I chose to be cremated. Friends may call after 3 PM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Black Creek with Mass of Christian Burial at 4 PM on Monday, April 22, 2013 with Fr. Theodore Hendricks officiating. Following the mass, join Ken and my family for a time of remembrance and celebration of my life at Romy's Nightingale.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established. Please remember me with smiles and laughter not tears of sadness. Online condolences may be expressed at www.muehlboettcher.com
Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour is assisting the family with arrangements.

A special thanks to Dr. Yao and the staff at Fox Valley Hematology and Oncology, Dr. Turaga and the staff at Froedert Medical College and Thedacare Homecare and Cherry Meadows Hospice.
