Norbert Degroot

Norbert H. DeGroot, 76, of Seymour, passed away Friday, August 25, 2017, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Eau Claire. He was born October 3, 1940, son of the late Bernard and Louisa (De Muth) DeGroot.
On September 10, 1977, he was united in marriage to Sandy Bartman.
Norbert was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his wife Sandy; daughter, Lisa (Armador) Castillejo; son, Kevin (Tonya) DeGroot; three grandsons and one granddaughter; brothers: Lawrence, Richard, Michael (Karen) DeGroot; sisters: Mary Letter, Florence Bartman, Margaret (Richard) Forsythe, Agnes (Gary) Schussman, Suzanne Walenta, Loretta (Paul) Paiser, Eleanor (Michael) Lucas and Rosemary (Richard) Brunner; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Rose Bartman, Florence Bartman, Louis Bartman, Jeannette Harold, Richard Bartman, Steven Bartman and James Bartman.
Preceded in death by his two brothers, Martin and James.
Friends may call at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Seymour on Wednesday, August 30, 2017, from 10:00 am until services at 11:00 am with Fr. Brian Belongia officiating.
