Norman E. Rohm, 83, of Seymour, passed away Monday, June 20, 2016, at St. Mary's Hospital. He was born in the Town of Osborn, April 6, 1933, son of the late Alvin and Elsie (Wichman) Rohm. He was baptized and confirmed in the Freedom Moravian Church.
On May 23, 1959, he was united in marriage to Linda Rusch in Seymour.
Norman was a member of New Life United Methodist Church, Seymour. He was a farmer and a machinist or 47 years. Norm was an avid hunter, fisherman, gardener, card player and enjoyed going up north to his trailer. He enjoyed time spent with his family most of all. Norm battled Parkinson's for 14 years.
Survived by his wife, Linda; his sons: Merlin (Peggy) Rohm, Duane (Theresa) Rohm, and Keith (Paula) Rohm; five grandchildren: Katie (Dane) Checholinski, Kimberly Rohm (special friend Mike), Callie Rohm, Sarah Rohm, Jacob Rohm; one great grandchild, Mary Checholinski; brother, Vernon Rohm, Seymour; sister, Alice (Bob) Prindel, Neenah; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Barbara (Vic) Muenster.
Norman is preceded in death by his in-laws: Anelda (Roger) Wisniewski, Bill (Catherine) Rusch, Guy (Dolores) Rusch and Margaret Rohm.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. Visitation will continue at New Life United Methodist Church, Seymour on Friday, June 24, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. with Pastor Rebecca Henry officiating.
