Orlin D. Bishop, age 79, of Seymour, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2014 at Bellin Hospital. He was born June 7, 1935, son of the late Roy and Olga Bishop.
Orlin served honorably for four years in the US Air Force and was a member of the American Legion Post 106 in Seymour.
On June 14, 1975 he was united in marriage to Ann Knoff of Green Bay.
Orlin worked for the City of Seymour for 25 years prior to his retirement in 1992.
He liked to fly and traveled extensively over the years. In his retirement he enjoyed riding his scooter around Seymour.
He is survived by his wife Ann; two nephews: Glenn (Candy) Bishop, Monty Bishop; two nieces Judy Bishop, Dawn (Tom) Elsnor; also survived by his good friend, Richard Elmergreen.
Orlin was preceded in death by two brothers: Ardale Bishop and Floyd (Dolores) Bishop; and his three, four-legged canine kids: Tina, Quincy, and Cocoa.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Thursday, September 11, 2014 from 4 pm until military honors at 7 pm. Entombment will take place at Fort Howard Memorial Park mausoleum in Green Bay. Online condolences may be expressed at
