Patricia Mahon

Patricia "Pat" Mahon, age 79, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024.

Patricia was born on October 13, 1944 to the late Lyle and Dorothy Buth.

Pat prioritized her family and made sure to spend as much time as possible with them. In addition to working as a housekeeper for 27 years, she loved having her house filled with her grandkids every weekend.

Pat loved to cook and host (shrimp dip and desserts were her specialties). Christmas was her favorite holiday and she enjoyed having all of her family in one place and watching everyone grow up. She went all out for every holiday with decor and always made sure her home was neat and tidy. She prided herself on being organized and made sure to save everything important and sentimental.

She loved to live a simple life. If you visited her at night/early morning, you would see her in her curlers with cotton balls in her ears. She loved the Packers, listening to her records, rummage sales, her fish game, watching movies and TV, puzzles/crossword puzzles. The flowers in her yard were well taken care of and she loved watching/feeding the squirrels and birds from her well-painted deck.

She is survived by her children: Jeffrey Douglas (Kim Drake) Mahon, Jenene Lynn (Fred) Schmidt; daughter-in-law, Bobbie Jo Mahon; grandchildren: Adam (Qiyas Mya) Mahon, Dalton (Carley) Lehrer, Hope Schmidt, Shaun Schmitt, Mitchell Schmidt, McKenzie (Matthew) Schmidt, Ryan Schmitt, Jesse (Hannah) Mahon, Jase Mahon, Joshua Mahon, Liam Mahon, Athena (Iris) Mahon, Tammy (David) Hahn and family, Carol (Mark) Burchard Heiderman, Alexandria Heiderman, and Angie Buth Brandt and family, Donna Buth, Judy (Todd) Buth and families.

She was preceded in death by her sons Jody Mahon and Jaime Mahon, her parents, her brother Michael Buth, and her former husband Dewey Douglas Mahon.

Funeral services for Pat will be held at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home on Saturday February 24th, 2024 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Ty Stoneburner officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12 Noon until the time of services. Private interment at Ft. Howard Cemetery.
