Patrick J. Ward, age 61, of Black Creek, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 28, 2014 due to an automobile accident. He was born February 10, 1953, son of the late Joel and Rose (Buchberger) Ward.
He was united in marriage on December 1, 1973 to Colleen Damsheuser.
Pat was a graduate of Seymour High School. Pat was a state licensed journeyman plumber and was a member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union Local 400 for 35 years. He was also a member of the Black Creek Sportsman Club for many years.
Pat enjoyed his title of "President of deer camp" up north at his trailer, near Townsend, WI, and spending summer holidays up north with his family. He always looked forward to his annual fishing trip to Canada with his fishing buddies. Pat loved being around people and he had a special place in his heart for the Bluma family.
He will be greatly missed by his 5 grandsons whom he adored so much. Pat always enjoyed driving "The Bus" for parties.
Survivors include his wife Colleen; daughters: Sheila St. Thomas (special friend Brian Shepard), Angela (Keith) Van Den Heuvel, Katie Prue; grandchildren: Alex, Bret and Cole Van Den Heuvel, Mason and Gavin St. Thomas; Also survived by his brothers and sisters: Nancy Piccolo, Clintonville; Glen (Yvonne) Ward, Green Bay; Joan Abel, Black Creek; Mina (Bruce) Landsverk, Freedom; Mary (Samuel) Rettler, Kaukauna; Dan (Cindy) Ward, Appleton; Anita (Ray) Theobald, Black Creek; Debra (Bill) Dicke, Appleton; and Lisa Ward, La Crosse; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Joyce (Wayne) Heim, Luella Ward, Butch (Ruth) Damsheuser, Bonnie (Duane) Krueger, Bill (Brenda) Vanden Bloomer, Tina (Jim) Behler, Vickie Vanden Bloomer, Lynn Wautier, LuAnn Vanden Bloomer, Jeff (Tina) Vanden Bloomer, Becky (Bill) Voigt, Mike Vanden Bloomer; Pats extended family: Matt St. Thomas, Sara (Nate) Schmit and Greg (Sabrina) Audette.
He was preceded in death by a sister Janis Trettin; 4 brothers: Ivan "Bud", David, William and Carl; sister-in-law, Kim Vanden Bloomer.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Friday, December 5, 2014 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. visitation will continue at St. John's Catholic Church, Seymour on Saturday, December 6, 2014 from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral mass at 11 a.m. with Fr. Bob Kabat officiating. Burial will take place at Elm Lawn Cemetery in the Town of Maple Grove.

Pat lead a courageous battle with kidney disease, doing dialysis at home for the past 3 years and thought his nurses were the best. He lived life to the fullest and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
