Paul B. Gunderson, 54, Shiocton, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016, at Cherry Meadows Hospice in Appleton, surrounded by his family following, a brief illness with cancer. He was born March 13, 1962, son of the late Harland and Donna (Greely) Gunderson.
On October 1, 1994, he was united in marriage to Lisa Herb.
Paul was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church, Shiocton. He was a graduate of Clintonville High School and a member of the State Champion football team of 1978. He was employed with Saputo Cheese in Black Creek. Paul enjoyed high school sports, especially watching his kids participate in Friday night football, wrestling, basketball and softball.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa; children: Dominic, Garrett, Benjamin and Gabrielle; siblings: Lori (Bill) Westphal, Bruce (Rachel) Gunderson, and Beth (Randy) Bergsbaken; mother-in-law, Carol Herb; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Nancy (Paul) Vanden Heuvel, Amy (Andre) Guyette, Ron Herb, Dave (Jennifer) Herb, Heather (Todd) Korth, and Paul Herb; numerous nieces and nephews.
Paul is preceded in death by a nephew, Jacob Bergsbaken and his father-in-law, Raymond Herb.
Friends may call at St. Denis Catholic Church, Shiocton, on Saturday, September 24, 2016, from 9 a.m. until the funeral mass at 1 p.m. with Fr. Richard Allen and Deacon Ken Bilgrien officiating.
