Percy Collins, age 77, of White Lake and formerly of Chicago, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2017, at Aspirus Langlade Hospital.
He was born on January 25, 1940, in Louisiana.
Percy worked for yellow cab in Chicago for over 40 years, having retired as their operations manager.
He had a passion for fishing, flowers, camping, fixing whatever needed fixing, and watching old western shows.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy; children: Elaine, Jerry, Paula, Percy, Jr., Eric (Jennifer), Dantoine, Craig, Kimberlee, and Shatae' (Arthur); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also, survived by two brothers: Erric and Robbie, the Wickersheim and yellow cab families.
Percy was preceded in death by his parents; Roxy and Elihou Byrd; and his grandmother who help raise him.
Percy was a private man and following his wishes, no public services will be held at this time.
