Phyllis Rothlesberger

Phyllis M. Rothlesberger, 83, of Coleman and formerly of Seymour, passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at St. Paul Home in Kaukauna. She was born May 9, 1931 a daughter of Florence (Greenwood) Hannan and the late George Hannan.
On April 10, 1948 she was united in marriage to Robert Jenquine. He preceded her in death on November 30, 1979. Phyllis married James "Jim" Rothlesberger on April 15, 1983.
Phyllis was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Coleman where she taught catechism until she was 82 and was an active member of the parish. Prior to moving to Coleman Phyllis was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Seymour where she also taught catechism and worked for Fr. Len Evers as a housekeeper for many years.
Phyllis enjoyed raising her family out on the farm. She loved gardening and tending to her precious roses. She cherished the opportunities to be with her children and grandchildren. Phyllis was a very social person and enjoyed spending time visiting with family and friends. She spent time outdoors watching the birds and going on many camping trips over the years. Throughout the years there was always a special dog in her life to keep her company.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Jim; six children: Robert (Maribeth) Jenquine, Downingtown, PA; Judith (Tom Harr) Jenquine, Salmon, ID; Daniel (Kathy) Jenquine, Brownsville, WI; Jerry (Julie) Jenquine, Suamico; Debra (Chris Hendricks) Jenquine, De Pere; Mary (Daniel Leeman) Jenquine, Waupaca; two step-children: Jennifer (Doug) Jansen, Kaukauna; Michelle Rothlesberger, Black Creek; 20 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren; mother, Florence Hannan, Pound; four siblings: Delmar (Joan) Hannan, Pound; Ronald (Mary) Hannan, Hilbert; Shirley (Jack) Fragassi, Chicago; George (Dianna) Hannan, Pound.
In addition to her husband, Robert, and father, George, Phyllis was preceded in death by two grandsons: Paul Hooyman and Erick Court; and sister, Theresa Kafka.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Sunday, October 12, 2014 from 4-8 pm with a parish prayer service at 7 pm. Visitation will continue on Monday, October 13, 2014 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Seymour from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Len Evers officiating.
