Rachel Gagnow

Rachel L. Gagnow (nee Marsh), 85, of Seymour passed away Friday April 18, 2014 with her family at her side.
She was born January 21, 1929 in the township of Lessor to Stephen and Helen (Ellis) Marsh. Rachel married Robert Gagnow January 8, 1949 and had 63 years of marriage together.
Rachel was a member of United Methodist Church in Seymour. They farmed most of their years together, along with Robert driving semi truck for many years at various trucking companies. They retired from farming in 1980, moved into Seymour where they purchased a home. Rachel worked as a cook at the Seymour schools. She cleaned homes for various people and had many part time jobs.
She was a loving mother, grandmother & great grandmother. Bob and Rachel have 5 children.
Bob (Karen) Gagnow, Kaukauna and their children Sharna (Chris), Robbie (Lily), Emily (Kurt); Gail (Carter) Timm, Red Granite and their son Spencer; Rick and Deb Gagnow, Seymour and their children, Sue (Wayne), Chris (Julie), Nick (Lori); Karen Bowers, Wrightstown and her daughter Erica (Jeff); Randy (Kelly) Gagnow, Freedom and their daughters Erika (Cory) and Ashley (Ron); 16 great grandchildren; her sister Colleen (Larry) Schnur; sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws: Jani Marsh, Elaine Gagnow, Darvin (Dorothy) Gagnow, Illa Mae Gipp, Marcella Gagnow, Delbert Zuleger, Bob Raymaker; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bob; son-in-law Tom Bowers; grandson Rex Bowers; two sisters: Doris Trost and Audrey Henn; and a brother Jerry Marsh.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Monday, April 21, 2014 from 4 pm to 8 pm. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Seymour United Methodist Church from 9:30 am until the services at 11 am with Pastor Lynn Kollath officiating. Burial will take place at Seymour City Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Meadow Wood Assisted Living and Theda Care Hospice for all the loving care and kindness given to mom and the family during her stay.
