Ralph Glen Wickesberg, 79, of Black Creek, passed away Monday morning, April 4, 2016 at Appleton Medical Center. He was born January 5, 1937, son of the late Glen and Janet (Eberhard) Wickesberg.
Ralph farmed his whole life until retirement and kept himself busy working part-time at Baer Paint in Appleton. Many years he considered himself supervisor for his brother, Keith Wickesberg Plumbing. He served in the U.S. Army with the 395th Ordinance. He enjoyed attending the Green Bay Packer games and traveling with his soul mate Donna. Ralph enjoyed "Going to the Office" to visit his special cousin, Dick Wickesberg. He was known as a very caring person who spent a lot of time with Donna's nephew, Joe Fassbender.
He is survived by his soul mate, Donna Fassbender; two sisters-in-law: Carol and Joyce Wickesberg; nieces: Joanie (Jeff) Doucette, and her children: Nicole, Dustin and Luke; Karen (Dan Deltour) Wild and her daughter, Janelle; Kathy (Scott) Volz and her children Quinn and Dayne; Donna's family: Joann (Louden) Brooks, Bruce (Carolyn) Fassbender, John (Cheryl) Fassbender, Mary Ann (William) Rettler.
Ralph is preceded in death by his three brothers, LeRoy, Howard and Keith; a special nephew, Joe Fassbender.
Graveside services at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. with Military Rites performed by the Black Creek American Legion Post 332 with a "Going to the Office" celebration at River Rail in Shiocton at 4 p.m.
