Raymond Levi Augustine, 86, Green Bay, passed away at home on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, with his family at his side. He was born on July 5, 1935, to the late Murray and Olga (Heisel) Augustine, in the Town of Grover in Marinette County. In his younger years, his family moved to various regions of Wisconsin. Ray was united in marriage to Carol Miller on August 24, 1963, in Seymour, and the couple enjoyed almost 58 years together and raised one daughter.
He was a graduate of DeVry University. Ray was employed for many years as a TV and radio engineer, and he held a first class F.C.C. license. He worked in Chicago, IL and Baltimore, MD. Ray and Carol relocated to Wisconsin in the early 2000s. Ray enjoyed sports, both as a fan and a participant. He also enjoyed watching and investing in the stock market.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Augustine, Green Bay; one daughter, Nancy Augustine, Efland, NC; one granddaughter, Elena Mejia, Elfand, NC; two brothers: Vernon "Butch" Augustine, Sturgeon Bay; and Harold (Dang) Augustine, Beaver Falls, PA; four sisters: Adeline Brown, Fond du Lac; Betty Forest, Sturgeon Bay; Mary Minter, New London; and Kathy Dietrich, Plover; two sisters-in-law: Norma Miller, Chicago, IL; and Linda (Daniel) Duffey, Oshkosh; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters: Angeline (Joseph) Percente, Marian (Woody) Young, and Irene (Ralph) Schlichting; five brothers-in-law: Howard Brown, William Forest, Allen Minter, Larry Dietrich, and Richard Michalski.
Visitation will take place at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 26, 2021, Chaplain Nicole Collins officiating. Burial will take place at South Maine Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Heartland Hospice would be appreciated.
