Raymond Botzet, age 92, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2024.
Raymond was born on October 17, 1932 to the late John and Isabelle (Hein) Botzet. Raymond was united in marriage to Virginia Clugh on July 11, 1959, and celebrated 65 years together.
Raymond drove truck for over 35 years and retired from Mill's Fleet Farm. He was a loving kind hearted man, who loved God, family, his country and was a Sargent at the time of discharge from the US Army. Raymond always made sure his wife and children had everything they needed, just not everything they wanted.
Raymond taught and showed respect, moral's and great work ethic's. He loved the Packers and NASCAR, as well as old trucks and tractors.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Botzet; children: Wanda (Bob) Russell, Michael, Patrick (JoAnne), Bill (Diane), Renee (Kelly) Baumann, John (Ranee); 21 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren, son-in-law Ken Meulemans, many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents: John and Isabelle Botzet; sisters: Marian (Harvey) Opgenonth, Dorothy (Pete) Socha; brother, Francis Botzet; daughter, Nancy Botzet Meulemans; and grandson, Luke Lenhart.
A funeral mass for Raymond will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Black Creek, on Tuesday November 26th at 11:00 AM with Fr. David Greskowiak officiating. Visitation will take place at the church from 9:00 AM until the time of services. Interment to follow at St. Mary Cemetery. A memorial fund is being established in Raymond's name.
