LUDACK, RAYMOND J. ("Gramps- The Clown)

Raymond J. Ludack, age 84, passed away Tuesday morning, March 2, 2010 at a Green Bay Nursing Home. He was born April 9, 1925 to Mr. and Mrs. Edward Ludack. In 1946 he was united in marriage to Shirley Mae Bayliss. She preceded him in death in 1994. In 1997 he was united in marriage to Dorothy Kornkowski.
Raymond was a WWII Navy Veteran receiving the Silver Star and Purple Heart. For 30 years he worked for the Chicago Railroad. He was a member of the Shriner's Clowns, being known as "Gramps". He was also a member of the Mason's obtaining the 32nd Degree. He was active in making it possible for many children to go to the Shriner's Hospital and for many years he participated in the Circus Parade.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; three children: Tanya (Ivan) Bostie, Missouri; Linda Zolinski, Milwaukee; John (Judy) Ludack, Seymour; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one sister, Florence Hubert, Lake Charles, LA.
He was preceded in death by a brother Edward.
