Rebecca (Becky) Blake age 90, passed away Wednesday morning, February 13, 2008 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Seymour. She was born May 5, 1917 in the Township of Cicero to Fred and Herminoe (Burbank) Bahrs. Becky lived in Black Creek before moving to Milwaukee where she worked at Briggs and Straten for 20 years before moving back to Black Creek. She operated Becky's Web in Black Creek for 4 years and also cooked and was a caregiver. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Black Creek.
Survivors include her children: Eugene (Audrey) Blake; Roberta (Ralph) Lorenz, both of Black Creek; and Kathleen (Bill) Theisen, Fond du Lac.
She was preceded in death by: one son Wayne, daughter-in-law, Dolores Blake, two brothers and six sisters.
Friends may call Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Friday, February 15, 2008 from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. Visitation will continue on Saturday, February 16, 2008 from 9:30 A.M. until funeral services at 11 A.M. at St. John's United Church of Christ, Black Creek with Rev. Don Baumann officiating.
