Regina Maroszek, age 94, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2022 at Shepherds Inn, Seymour.
Regina was born on August 13, 1928, in Maple Grove to the late Max and Catherine (Zachwieja) Gwidt. Regina was united in marriage to Sylvester Maroszek in Assumption BVM Church, Pulaski on July 22, 1950. He preceded her in death on January 28, 2008.
She enjoyed polka music and country music. Regina was a member of St. John The Baptist Catholic parish in Seymour, WI.
She is survived by two daughters: Linda Shepard, Black Creek; Diane (Ray) Letter, Seymour; two grandchildren: Crystal (Dan) Baxter, and Travis (Jennifer) Shepard, both of Black Creek; six great-grandchildren; siblings: Janet Lasecki, Pat (Gloria) Gwidt, Marilyn (Leo) Skaletski, Dick (Debbie) Gwidt, Bob Gwidt; sister-in-law, Margaret Gwidt; brothers-in-law Ray (Maryann) Maroszek; Alan Nytes; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Sylvester Maroszek; two daughters: Sharon Maroszek and Gail Maroszek; son, Shawn Maroszek; siblings: Ray Gwidt, Florence Gwidt, Gertie (Edward) Kabara, Martha (Norbert) Wanek, Betty (Roman) Kabara, William Gwidt, and John Gwidt; son-in-law, Leroy Shepard; brother-in-law, Vernon Laseck.
Visitation will take place at St. John Catholic Church, Seymour, on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, from 9:30 am until the funeral mass at 11:00 am with Fr. Sengole Dass and Deacon Rich Matuszak officiating. Burial will be in the St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Hofa Park.
