Richard Clarence Jaskolski, 83, Navarino, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 26, 2021. Richard, also known as Richie or "Turk" to his friends, was born on June 3, 1938, to the late Leo and Elizabeth (Barowski) Jaskolski. He was a graduate of Bonduel High School. Richard was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1961, and he proudly served his country until 1963. He then returned to his hometown of Navarino, where he lived his whole life.
Richard worked at Tech Systems (W.R. Grace Co.) until his retirement. He served on the Navarino-Lessor Fire Department for 37 years. Richie was a lifetime member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Navarino. He enjoyed playing pool and hunting. Richard liked dirt track racing and he was a sponsor to the local racers. He was an avid Navarino Rangers Baseball fan and was a member of the Navarino Knight Rider Snowmobile Club. Richie was a good friend to all who knew him and was always willing to lend a hand. He always kept a watchful eye on his friends and he will be missed.
He is survived by his sister, Kathleen Jaskolski; cousins and friends.
Visitation will take place at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Navarino, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 18, 2021, Fr. David Greskowiak officiating. Military honors by American Legion Post #217 in Bonduel will follow. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
