Richard Kuehne

August 1, 1934 — July 12, 2012

Richard C. "Dick" Kuehne, 77, of Seymour passed away Thursday afternoon, July 12, 2012 at his home surrounded by family. He was born August 1, 1934 son of the late Carl and Esther (Trost) Kuehne. On December 1, 1956 he was united in marriage to Ione Ossmann.

Richard was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour. He was a charter member of the Seymour Lions Club since March 1, 1963.

He worked for R. Kuehne & Sons until 1968 working with his grandfather, father, uncles and brother and then Kuehne Implement from 1969 until 1995. He spent his entire working career selling farm equipment. He was an avid Packer fan and a season ticket holder since 1951. He enjoyed bowling, golfing and card playing and most of all time spent with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Ione; his children: Brenda (Steve) Taubel, Neenah; Jacalyn (Norb) Van Kauwenberg, Seymour; Michele (Ron) Duncan, Manhatten, Kansas; Denise (Steve) Polakowski, Green Bay; Mike (Carol) Kuehne, Seymour; Charlie, Seymour; grandchildren: Jason (Jen), Melissa (Scott), Connie, Rebecca, Jeffrey, Gretchen, Renee, Joshua, Paula, Jenifer, Danielle (Dave), Tracey (Jeff) and Mike; great-grandchildren: Isabelle, Lanz, Brittney, Breanna, Nevaeh, Brandon, Brady, Brinley; brothers: Terry Kuehne, Seymour; Carl (Mary Ellen) Kuehne, De Pere; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Emerald (Luella) Ossmann, De Pere; Lydia (Larry) Tews, Watertown; Laverne Zeamer, De Pere; Elaine Court, Seymour; Robert (Arlene) Ossmann, Seymour; Vernon (Janet) Ossmann, Seymour; sister-in-law, Sally Ossmann

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by brothers-in-law and sister-in-law: Emerson (Gertrude), Amos, Marvin (Esther),Ernest, Art Zeamer and Archie Court.

Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Monday, July 16, 2012 from 4-8 PM and July 17, 2012 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour from 9:30 AM until services at 11:00 AM with Pastor Roland Lindeman officiating. Burial will take place in the Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established in Dick's memory for Special Touch Ministries.
