Ricky Lee Bridges, 66, of Lake Tomahawk, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at his home, with his family by his side.
Rick was born in Aurora, Colorado on March 16, 1956, to Marshall and Patsy (Goodwin) Bridges. Upon graduating from Cherry Creek High School, he attended college on a baseball scholarship. In 1975 Rick enlisted in the United States Army where he proudly served his country until 1978. In 1981, he moved to Seymour, WI where he later met his future wife Pat. They were wed in August of 1982. They had 3 children in Colorado and moved back to Seymour in 1994. He retired in 2020 and in January of 2021 Rick and Pat moved to their home on the lake.
Rick coached his children’s softball, baseball, and basketball teams. He was an avid Denver Broncos fan, and of Colorado sports in general. He also enjoyed golfing, pontoon boat rides, spending time outdoors, and being with his grandchildren.
He will be dearly missed by his soul mate, Pat, children, Jennifer Bridges and (Jason Schueppert) of St. Paul, MN, Michael Bridges of Appleton, WI, and Katie Bridges and (Eli Halterman) of St. Paul, MN, two grandsons, Jack, and Max Bridges and by his four-legged companion, Lexi. Also surviving are other relatives and friends.
Ricky is preceded in death by his parents, Marshall, and Patsy Bridges and by one brother, Hollis “Butch” Bridges.
Upon Rick’s request, no funeral service will be held.
