Robert H. Biese, age 77, of Black Creek, passed away Friday, December 7, 2007 in Appleton following a courageous battle with brain cancer. He was born July 1,1930 to the late Henry and Catherine (Van Asten) Biese. Robert served in the U.S. Army during the reconstruction period of WWII. On July 20, 1963 he was united in marriage to Rose Hansen. He was one of the first veal farmers in Wisconsin and worked at Kimberly-Clark for 15 years. Robert enjoyed golf in his later years and had a quick wit and a great sense of humor. He was very dedicated to his family and raising his 8 children.

Survivors include: his wife, Rose; his 8 children, Ken (Dawn) Biese, Freedom; Lisa (Warren) Jones, CA; Paul (Joan) Biese, Seymour; Kurt (Lene D'Hondt) Biese, Appleton; Kevin (Tamra) Biese, Hortonville; Michael (Joanne Becker) Biese, CA; Kim Marie (Jeff) Adams, MN; Matthew (Angela) Biese, Black Creek. He is further survived by 10 grandchildren, Karli, Megan, Kyle, Tristan, Jacob, Logan, Kadie, Dillon, Nathan, Jade; 3 sisters, Jane Mc Cormick, Green Bay; LaVerne (Joseph) Vande Corput, Pulaski; Kathleen Biese, Appleton; 2 brothers, Don (Lillian) Biese, Kimberly; Marvin Biese, Kaukauna; sister-in-law, Rita Biese, Seymour; father-in-law, Harold Hansen..

He was preceded in death by: his brother, Elzer Biese; a brother-in-law, Robert Mc Cormick; mother-in-law, Florence Hansen.

Friends may call at St. Edward's Catholic Church, Mackville, on Tuesday, December 11, 2007 from 9 AM to noon. Mass of Christian Burial will be at noon with Father Justin Werner officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.boettcherfuneralhomes.com .
