Robert Leo Gosz, age 59, of Black Creek, passed away Sunday evening, June 30, 2013 at home with his family by his side following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born July 13, 1953 son of the late Leo and Dorothy Gosz.
He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Black Creek. Robert was employed at Appleton Coated in Combined Locks for 40 years. He was a 1971 graduate of Seymour High School. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and was a volunteer with the handicap hunt at the Gritt farm. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include his children: Michelle (Brian) Dickman and Chad Gosz both of Appleton; 3 grandchildren: Gavin, Teagan, and Braden; 7 sisters: Joanne (Eugene) Kaczrowski, Seymour; Lynn Wilson, Bainbridge, GA; Janice (Gary) Murphy, Center; Carol (David) Truyman, Jean Morrow (special friend Pete Larson), Diane (Thomas) Gilbert, Mary (James) Kent, all of Black Creek; 3 brothers: Richard (special friend Shirley Mc Glin), Dennis (Linda), Gerald (Tammy), all of Black Creek; 31 nieces and nephews; 51 great nieces and nephews; special friends: Ed and Mary Gritt and family; Mike Nachtwey.
Preceding him in death were his parents and an infant sister.
Friends may call at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Black Creek on Saturday, July 6, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Theodore Hendricks officiating. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
