Robert "Bob" A. Jeske, age 93, of Seymour passed away Thursday, September 12, 2013 at St. Mary's Hospital in Green Bay. He was born on January 29, 1920 to the late Albert and Ida (Court) Jeske.
He married Arlene Schlack on August 24, 1949 in Appleton and the couple enjoyed 64 years of marriage.
Robert remained on the family dairy farm where he was born until retiring and moving into Seymour. He was very proud of his red Holsteins and his Oliver tractors.
Robert and Arlene enjoyed going on anniversary trips. They visited every state except for Hawaii.
He is survived by his wife, Arlene; three children: Norbert (Mary Stevens) Jeske, Berkeley, CA; Karen Jeske, Green Bay; Kelly (Rachel) Jeske; Lebanon, WI; four grandchildren: Crystal (Nathan), Christine (Joseph), Christie, and Christa (Terry); four great-grandchildren: Johnathan, Matthew, Elizabeth, and Nicholas. Further survived by his sister Ella Kaatz, Arizona, and sister-in-law Dorothy Jeske, Darboy; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Robert was preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher; three sisters: Olga Jeske, Hilda Jeske, and infant Grace; brother Otto; and brother-in-law Gerald Kaatz.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Monday, September 16, 2013 from 4 pm until funeral services at 7 pm with Luther Raine and Stanley March officiating. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.
