Robert Weldon Pence, 89, of Argonne, passed away peacefully Thursday morning, June 23, 2016 at the home of his good friend, Katie Diemel. He was born August 20, 1926, son of the late A.C. Pence and Georgetta Kincade.
Bob served in the U.S. Navy from 1945 to1952. He had the Stage Coach Line at Pleasure Island in Eagle River. He founded Kart Way Park in Eagle River.
He was a well-known horse trader from Montana to the East Coast, sold horses to Mexico and Cayman Islands, and pair of paint driving horses are still at Disney World in Orland, Florida. He will be very sadly missed by longtime friend, Katie Diemel and many friends.
He is survived by his a grandson and granddaughter.
According to Bob's wishes a private services were held. Burial will take place in the Union Cemetery, Town of Lessor.
