Robert Wilken

Robert W. Wilken, 67, of Seymour passed away Monday morning, August 12, 2013 at his home. He was born January 20, 1946, son of the late Lawrence and Delores (Schoepke) Wilken.
On June 5, 1971 he was united in marriage to Judy Seehawer.
Bob was a Vietnam Navy Veteran serving as a Seabee and was a member of the Seymour American Legion.
He was employed with Fort Howard for 33 years until his retirement. After retirement he was employed with Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Seymour.
Bob enjoyed work and loved people, most important was the time he spent with his family. He had unconditional love for his family and friends.
He was survived by his wife, Judy; children: Robert Wilken, Ironwood, Michigan; Laurie (Jim) Hanson, Bettendorf, Iowa; Todd (Jamie) Wilken, Rapid River, Michigan; and Jessica (Nick) Wagner, Appleton; 7 grandchildren: Jordan, Alex, Danica, Chad, Trey, Kaiden, and Ella. Further survived by two brothers: Jim (Nancy) Wilken, Bear Creek; and twin brother Ron (Sue) Wilken, DePere; sisters-in-laws and brothers-in-law: Garth (Marilyn) Seehawer; Don Seehawer, Mary (Mike) Kreuser; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, mother-in-law and father-in-law Carl and Althea Seehawer; brother-in-law Carl David Seehawer; twin infant granddaughters, Reagan and Hailey.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 from 4 pm to 8 pm. Visitation will continue on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at the funeral home from 9:30 am until services at 10:30 am with Pastor Bernard Ferguson officiating. Burial will take place in the Seymour City Cemetery with Military rites to follow at the cemetery.
