Roberta Mory

March 29, 1928 — December 14, 2012

Roberta B. Mory, 84, of Seymour passed away Friday afternoon, December 14, 2012 at St. Vincent Hospital from heart failure. She was born March 29, 1928 daughter of the late Harvey Blohm and Marian Veitch. She graduated from Seymour High School in 1945 and went to work at Marathon Corporation in Neenah.

On April 20, 1946 she was united in marriage to Robert Mory. Robert preceded her in death on October 25, 2004. Following marriage the couple lived in the Seymour area. After her children were in school she went to work at Zephyr Oil in Appleton and later worked as a bookkeeper at Kuehne Livestock for many years.

Roberta sang with the Chaminade Chorus of the Fox Valley, was on the board of the Seymour Historical Society, and volunteered at Salvation Army.

Roberta was a member of United Methodist Church in Seymour.

Survivors include her children: Robert Mory, Jr., Seymour; Janis (Ed) Zoglman, Menasha; Dean (Pat) Mory, Ellsworth; David (Susan) Mory, Stevens Point; B. J. (Gary) Barber, Green Bay; Leslie (Steve) Hanson, Seymour; 11 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sister Patricia (Jack) Rohloff, New London; two brothers: Norman (Violet) Blohm; Seymour, and Vernon (Jean) Blohm, Seymour; sisters-in-law Helen Nelson, Fort Worth, TX; Peggy Mory, Arizona; brother-in-law Orvell DeBruin.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother Darwin Blohm.

Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home on Monday, December 17, 2012 from 5 pm to 8 pm. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Seymour United Methodist Church from 10 am until the services at 11 am with Pastor Rebecca Henry officiating. Burial will take place in the Seymour City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Roberta's memory to the Seymour Historical Society and the Salvation Army.
