Ronald Abel

Ronald "Butch" A. Abel, age 67, of Neenah passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at home. He was born on January 15, 1945 to Sally (Lemmens) Abel Ossmann and the late Arvin Abel. He was united in marriage to Sally Schmit on January 22, 1971 at St. John Catholic Church in Seymour.
He was a member of St. Gabriel Parish in Neenah.
Butch loved to go fishing and playing sheepshead. He enjoyed time spent with his grandchildren and being a part of their lives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother Sally Abel Ossmann; three sons: Scott Abel (special friend Cristine), Neenah; Kevin (Donna) Abel, Menasha; Jason (Carrie) Abel, Menasha; six grandchildren: Matthew, Kristian, Joseph, Zachary, Arianna, and Allison; and sister Linda (John) VandenLangenberg, Mountain. Also survived by other family and friends.
Butch was preceded in death by his father Arvin and step-father Ernie Ossmann.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, 358 S. Main Street, Seymour, on Monday, March 12, 2012 from 3 PM until the memorial service at 5 PM with Fr. Richard Allen officiating.
