Ronald (Johnny) J. Bartman, age 65, passed away Monday evening, September 15, 2008 at Appleton Medical Center. He was born September 5, 1943 in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, son of the late Adolph and Lorraine (Braun) Miller. On February 17, 1966 he was united in marriage to Barbara Subler in Black Creek.
Ron was a past member of the National Guard and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Black Creek. He enjoyed his time with his grandchildren, hunting, fishing, watching Packer games and finding the best place for ice cream.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara; their children: Sarah (Kevin) Ambrosius, Seymour; Travis (Darci) Bartman, Black Creek; Jason Bartman, Black Creek; grandchildren: Crystal, Stephanie, Isabelle, Wyatt; four sisters: Beverly Brown, Milwaukee; Shirley (John) Jooss, Appleton; Charlene Goerl, Appleton; Bonnie Bruehl, Arizona.
He was preceded in death by one grandson Garrett and one brother Mike.
Friends may call at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 E. Birch Street, Black Creek on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 from 4 PM until 7 PM and Thursday, September 18, 2008 from 10 AM until funeral services at 11 AM with Pastor Steve Schlicht officiating.
