Ronald Phillip Ziebell, 74, Black Creek, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2020. He was born to the late Phillip and Violet (Schultz) Ziebell on July 16, 1946. Ron was a 1964 graduate of Waupaca High School. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and proudly served his country from 1965-1969. On October 17, 1970, Ron was united in marriage to Judy Everett. Ron began his career at Pierce Manufacturing in 1970, where he worked until his retirement in 2008.
He loved spending time with family, often while having a barbecue or playing card games. Ron also enjoyed the many vacations with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Ziebell, Black Creek; two children: Laura (Doug) Janz, Seymour, and John (Michelle) Ziebell, Appleton; two granddaughters: Stephanie Danke, and Ashley Rueden; four great-grandchildren: Tamaya, Joshua, Haven, and Maliyah; two brothers: Tom and Rick Ziebell, both of Waupaca; and his beloved cat, Boo.
In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his younger brother, David Ziebell.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m., Pastor Ty Stoneburner officiating. Military honors by the Krause-Kraft-Mueller American Legion Post #106, Seymour, will follow.
The family extends a special thanks to the caregivers with ThedaCare at Home Hospice and Cherry Meadows Hospice for their compassionate care.
