Rose L. Ganzel, age 92, passed away Monday, February 26, 2018, with her family by her side. She was born, October 6, 1925, in Menno, South Dakota, daughter of the late John and Amelia (Lippert) Ernst.
On November 16, 1946, she was united in marriage to Lawrence Ganzel in Appleton. He preceded her in death on June 25, 2000. They shared 53 years together.
Rose was a long-time member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour.
Rose loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved to bake, can, garden, fish, camp, read, and play cards. She had a great sense of humor and liked to help out anyone she could. Most of all she was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
She is survived by her children: Larry (Pat) Ganzel, Patty (Andy) Morlock, Linda Ganzel, Becky (Brian) Falk, Richard (Brenda) Ganzel; grandchildren: Kristen, Greg, Brian, Lorin, Angela, Brianna, Baylee, Brady and Christian; great-grandchildren: Chloe and Jack; sisters: Esther (August) Bratz and Sylvia Miller; brothers: Andy Ernst and Larry Ernst.
Rose is preceded in death her daughter, Kathy; brothers: Walter, John, Harold, Leo, Marvin and Del Ernst.
Friends may call at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour on Saturday, March 3, 2018, from 9:00 am until services at 11:00 am with Pastor Natalie Kramer-McComb officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
