Rose M. Kahler, 76, of the Town of Center, passed away early Monday morning, May 22, 2017, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home. She was born November 11, 1940, daughter of the late Edward and Gladys (Jones) Niec. On November 18, 1961, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Kahler. He preceded her in death March 13, 2017.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran church, Town of Center. She enjoyed nature, reading, baking, knitting, and crocheting, but most of all time spend with her grandchildren.
Rose is survived by her son, Rodney (fiancAC.e Kay) Kahler, Black Creek; three grandsons: Jon (fiancAC.e Ashley) Kahler, Ryan Kahler, and Aaron Kahler; one great-granddaughter, Aubrey; step-grandson Vinny; great-grandchildren: Dustan and Logan; siblings: Ed Jr. Niec, Robert (Barb) Niec, Doris Jansen, Ervin Niec, Don (Marie) Niec, Larry (Linda) Niec, David Niec, Betty (Joe) Rosera, Bonnie (Darrell) Rose, Mike (Sue) Niec and Randy (Tammy) Niec; sisters-in-law: Ione (Vincent) Berg, Violet (Delmar) Sawall, Grace, Carol, and Jean Kahler; special friend, Keith Rahmlow.
Preceded in death by her brother, Ricky; sister, Christine (Kilsdonk) Niec; brothers-in-law: Daniel (Speedo) Jansen, Floyd, Orlin, and Donnie Kahler; sister-in-law, Carol Kahler; other family members and friends.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. And visitation will continue at St. John's Lutheran Church, Town of Center on Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. until services at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jeffery Suhr and Pastor Andrew Frey officiating. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.
