Rose Kleist

Rose C. Kleist, age 100, of Bonduel, passed away peacefully Saturday evening on November 4, 2023. She was born August 12, 1923, in the Town of Lessor, Shawano Co., WI, daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth (Bogacz) Rudzinski. On February 25, 1948, she was united in marriage to Russell Kleist in Shorewood.

Russell and Rose operated Kleist Electric Motor Repair for 58 years. They also owned Kleist Bar in Navarino for many years. She enjoyed visiting with her family and her many friends. Rose and Russell spent time traveling visiting many places. She enjoyed playing golf, playing cards, watching the Packers and the Brewers. She also enjoyed cooking and baking. She was eager to try new recipes.

Survivors include her sisters: Esther Marlewski, Milwaukee and Evelyn (Harvey) Pertula, MN and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Russell Kleist; her siblings: John (Johanna) Rudzinski, Celia (John) Bluma, Frank Rudzinski III, Stanley (Irene) Rudzinski, Leonard (Rita) Rudzinski, and Lucille (Ray) Ambrosius; brother-in-law, Leonard Marlewski.

Friends may call at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Seymour on Friday, November 10, 2023 from 9:00 until the funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. with Father Robert Kabat and Deacon Rich Matuszak officiating.
