Russell Beyer

Russell Roy Beyer, age 88, of Freedom, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2013, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Seymour. Russell was born on November 8, 1924, son of the late Herman and Ella (Miller) Beyer of Shiocton.
On October 10, 1946 he was united in marriage to Helen Henn at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour.
Russ farmed all of his life. He also did custom crop spraying and was a great handyman. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing cards. After he retired Russ and Helen enjoyed casino bus trips with their friends.
Russell is survived by his wife Helen; of 66 years and their seven children: Patty (Pat) Geenen, Freedom; Terry (Linda) Beyer, Seymour; Karen (Mike) Geenen, Freedom; Sue (Mark) Diedrick, Seymour; Jan (Bruce) Eggert, Appleton; Jim (Sandy) Beyer, Seymour; Tammie (Joe) Goaley, Freedom; grandchildren: Bob (Terri) Geenen, Jill (Lance) Vandenberg, Kevin Beyer, Jackie (Mark) Cychosz, Dean Diedrick, Laurie (Brian) Noll, Stacy (Don) Saringer, Jody Eggert, Dana Eggert, Shawn (Erin) Beyer, Craig Beyer, Amanda and David Beyer, Kelly (Nate) Cherene, Brenda Goaley. He is also survived by his sister Ione Court, Freedom.
Russell is preceded in death by his parents, sister Marion (Ervin) Kleinschmidt, brother Emory "Bud" (Virginia) Beyer, one infant daughter, grandsons: Todd and Joey Geenen; Greg and Rod Geenen; In-laws Mabel and August Henn.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Tuesday, July 16, 2013, from 4-8 p.m., and Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour from 9:30 a.m. until services at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Natalie Kramer officiating.
