Russell A. Kleist, age 87, of Bonduel, passed away early Saturday morning, September 22, 2007, at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay. He was born July 28, 1920, in Milwaukee, son of the late Albert and Lydia (Arndt) Kleist. On February 25, 1948, he was united in marriage to Rose Rudzinski in Shorewood.
Russell was a World War II Air Force Veteran. He owned and operated Kleist Electric Motor Repair for 58 years. He enjoyed all sports, especially playing cards.
Survivors include: his wife, Rose, of 59 years; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Celia Bluma, Hofa Park; Stanley (Irene) Rudzinski, Briarton; Esther Marlewski, New Berlin; Rita Rudzinski, West Allis; Ray Ambrosius, Seymour; Evelyn (Harvey) Perttula, Wisconsin Rapids; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Victor and Wyman; one sister, Viola; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: John (Johanna), Frankie and Leonard Rudzinski; Leonard Marlewski, and John Bluma.
Friends may call at Muehl - Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 25, 2007. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, September 26, 2007, from 10:00 a.m. until services at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Seymour, with Father Robert Kabat officiating.
