Ruth Caroline (Neumann) Rodencal, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018, at Living Tree Estates, Greenville at the age of 88. Ruth was born on June 18, 1929, in the Town of Grand Chute, Outagamie County, the daughter of Theodore and Emma (Herzfeldt) Neumann.
She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Appleton and its Altar Guild for many years.
Ruth worked for Casey's Grocery Store, Manderfield's Home Bakery and Gloudeman Department Store.
On September 10, 1950, she married Marvin M. Rodencal. They shared over 67 years together.
She is survived by her husband, Marvin; sister-in-law, Gretchen Rodencal; nieces and nephews: Gary (Chris), Ralph (JoAnn), Dennis (Kris), Tom (Linda) Neumann, Donna Olson, Leta Krueger, Debra (Patrick) Jacklin, Diane (Dave) Fell and Bonnie Neumann; further survived by Marvin's nieces and nephews: Shirley (Donnie) Crossman, Judy, David, Karen, Doug (Lori), Larry (Patti) Rodencal, Sharon (Bob) Heschke, Lori (Robert) Edelburg and Thomas Roggow.
Ruth is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers: Kenneth (Mildred), Walter (Bernice) and Lee (Dorothy) Neumann; in-laws, Harley (Ella), Gordon Rodencal and Marjorie (Lawrence) Roggow; nieces and nephews: Sharon and Jerry Jahnke, Chuck Krueger, Albert, Barbara Rodencal, Elaine Marquardt, Carol and Kathryn Roggow.
Friends may call at St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church, 129 S. Mason Street, Appleton on Thursday, May 17, 2018, from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am with Pastor Jonathan Kuske officiating.
